Point Domain to Web Host

This article explains how to buy a domain name & point it to your Techlink hosting plan.

Register Domain

Signup with Namecheap or Porkbun, find a Domain & pay for it.

Point your Domain to us

Follow this guide for Namecheap or this guide for Porkbun.
When prompted for Name Servers enter the following:
ns1.techlink.co.nz
ns2.techlink.co.nz

Wait up to 48 hours

After you have saved the Name Server settings, it is likely to take a few hours before the changes take effect all around the world. Worse scenario it can take up to 48 hours.

Sign up for an account with us

In the meantime, signup to one of our plans, and enter your Domain name at the checkout.

If you have already signed up with us, you can enter the Domain name under the Domain Name Manager.

When the domain name is ready

Try to visit your site, if successful, you should see a page as in the picture.

Then you can access your website control panel by going to yourdomain.com:2222
